A teacher just created a group of students using a NWEA class report of her 5th grade students for their math test scores in spring 2017. The report included 25 students who enrolled and tested at the school. In order to view the report in data dashboard, the teacher clicked on the waffle icon on the top left corner of the data dashboard and selected essentials.

In the assessments session, the teacher clicked on MAP and used Growth Math.

She then used Step 1: Navigate to the essentials module if you are not in there.

Click on assessments and choose a test (e.g.,  MAP Growth Math).

Step 3:

Use the student group filter to locate the a student group that was created based on the NWEA report. Note that this filter only exists on the assessment dashboards.

In addition to that, the teacher would also need to set up Step 4:

Use the student view filter . There are three categories under the students view filter that are:

Currently Enrolled in this School – this filter pulls students who were currently enrolled in your school,

Cohort Annualized to this School – this filter pulls students whose last enrollment was in your school, and

Tested in this School – this filter pulls students who were tested in your school on the test (e.g., MAP)to select a student cohort. Note that this filter only exists on the assessment dashboards.
