Cohort Creation, Application and Management Activity

Purpose:

  1. Explore possible uses for the cohort tool.
  2. Learn to create, manage and use cohorts in the data warehouse.


Directions:

In groups of 2-3, work through the below items in the data warehouse.

NOTE: Select one school to work in for this activity if you are a district staff or working in a cross-school team.


  1. Identify a real-life situation where you would create a cohort in the data warehouse.  Describe it here:







  1. Create a cohort with at least 5 students.

  1. Share the cohort with your partner.


  1. Apply your cohort in the DW and answer the following questions:
