How do I use the Grants Database?

 If this is your first time visiting the GRAD’s grants database, you may be wondering how to use the grants database to find a grant for your school or classroom. The grants database is set up for all grant seekers to view. This short step-by-step guide will walk you through the process.

Step-by-step guide


     1. The URL is https://dna.fcps.net/Grants/

    1. Once into the database, you will see on the left hand side, show all grants or browse by category.

     2. If you click, show all grants, all grants in the database will appear.  If you choose browse by category, different categories will appear. Examples: Agriculture & Gardening, Arts, Humanities, & Music, Business & Vocational Opportunities. 

                   

     3. When you find a grant that fits what your idea, plan, etc. click on the grant name to get more information. You should see date added, educational area, deadline for the grant, website for the grant and a description of the grant.

                     


     4. If you find a grant that you would like to write for, please communicate with your principal and send in an Intent to Apply form to the grants office.
